Decide not to make excuses
Decisions are a waste of time, unless we follow them with an immediate action.
Imagine making a map with the exact location to a treasure. If we do not act on information contained in this map, the map will be as worthless as a blank piece of paper.
Throughout our lives, we will undergo inevitable circumstances; diseases, deaths, heartbreaks, financial instability etc. While those circumstances are more than good reason to quit, none of them will make a strong enough excuse for us to give up on ourselves, on our dreams, on what we stand for as human beings.
It’s not a tragedy to experience adversities, yet it is a tragedy to use those adversities as an excuse for giving up on life.
Making a new decision is like having a map; it’s of no value, unless we act on it. Decide, act, then and only then, we will attain. Many of us decided a long time ago on what kind of life we wanted, but only a few acted on it.
You can either be part of the few who do or the many who talk.
Decide today to never make excuses, do more and talk less.
“The ideal person bears the accidents of life with dignity and grace, making the best of circumstances.”
